Community Guidelines

TechHub is a community built by and for tech enthusiasts. To keep it a great place for everyone, we ask all members to follow these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every member with respect. Healthy debate is welcome — personal attacks, harassment, and hate speech are not. Disagree with ideas, not people.

2. Share Quality Content

• Submit links and stories that are genuinely interesting to the tech community.
• Write descriptive, accurate titles — don't editorialise or sensationalise.
• Avoid duplicate submissions. Search before you post.
• Self-promotion is allowed in moderation — if you built something cool, share it. But don't spam.

3. Comment Thoughtfully

• Add value to the conversation. "Great post!" adds nothing.
• Back up claims with evidence or reasoning.
• Stay on topic.
• Don't post the same comment in multiple threads.

4. No Spam or Manipulation

• Don't create multiple accounts to vote on your own content.
• Don't ask friends or colleagues to upvote your submissions.
• Automated submissions or bot accounts will be banned immediately.

5. Keep It Legal

• Don't share pirated software, cracked tools, or illegal content.
• Don't post private or confidential information about others.
• Respect copyright — link to original sources.

6. No Misinformation

Don't knowingly share false or misleading technical information. If you're unsure, say so. Corrections are welcome and encouraged.

7. Moderation

Moderators may remove content or accounts that violate these guidelines. Repeated violations result in permanent bans. If you see a violation, use the report button — don't engage.
